Many thanks to all whom attended our Album Launch shows in November09.
special thanks to Hobgoblin Records, Brighton Morris men, Miles Davis and Harry our new amazing tour bus driver!

The deerhunters had a blast on tour we spent an epic four days on a bus together covering over 600 miles to launch the record.

It was agreed by all that brighton Komedia was just one great party :-)....

We look forward to getting more opportunities to play as a large outfit in 2010. Many great things are on the horizon including a new album drawing more of the the bands influences together as much as mine. Also keep you eye on the gig list for the release of our Easter unplugged tour!

August Update

After playing Larmer Tree, Sidmouth and Whitby folk festivals this summer, Doe and the band are on a great roll, and the forthcoming album launch parties in Brighton and London promise to be exceptional.

Gypsyhead will be officially released on 14th September 2009.
The London press launch will take place at the Gibson Guitar Centre in central London on 4th November. Tickets will be on sale for this event nearer the time, so if you'd like to attend, watch this space, or join the email newsletter for updates. (Link at the bottom of this page).

The Brighton Launch Party will be at the Komedia in Brighton on 3rd November, and you will be able to buy tickets for this event directly from the Komedia.

Heya Folks Welcome to my new Website, good aint it!

I have been working jolly hard lately on things like the live show.

i've just got back from a weeks rehearsal in a remote studio in the Scottish borders with the Deerhunters which was fantastic and what can i say they are a fantastic set of musicians who worked 4 12hr rehearsal days....They are bunch of musical soldiers

I'm so excited i cant wait for our first full band gig at Larmer Tree. which also will be the first time the Album is available to buy and al sorts of other Dogan Mehmet goodies.

any of you that maybe coming to the Lamertree gig watch out for the change in line up....i have two fantastic Dep's stepping in for Matt P and Colin.

The Dep's are Young Folk Award 09 Finalist Seth Tinsley on Guitars and ROCAS's Very own Pro Opera Singer and Accordionist the Fabulous talent that is Phil Willcox

But all shall be back to Regular Deerhunting for Sidmouth Folk week!!
