This looks like it might be a bit of a "meet the instruments and their exponents" gig, giving you an insight into a couple of the unusual instruments they play. Dogan is quite a raconteur so you are sure to be treated to some amusing tales - as well as amazing English & Turkish Cypriot music with the Deerhunters unique style.

After 16 amazing gigs with the new Quartet lineup and a truly memorable Full Band gig at the Sage, Gateshead (complete with brass section) we are now looking forward to the release of the new album "Outlandish" and plenty of festivals. On Thursday 31st March, the first gig of the tour will be at The Cumberland Arms, Newcastle. The 31st is also Doe's 21st Birthday so it will be an extra special night.
The tour starts and ends in Newcastle, culminating with a HUGE gig at The Sage on 1st May - the full band with brass section. Unfortunately going on the road with THAT band would be a gargantuan task but you won't be disappointed with the touring Quartet line-up. Dogan, Matt Quinn, Tom Redman & percussionist Victor Solana will blow you away !

Hey folks,
Well the second leg is now underway and our 8 day/ 1000 mile tour of the UK was kicked off beautifully with a full band gig at the empowering church, hackney. Many thanks to all whom attended last night it was brilliant to see so many familiar faces and much of the London Turkish community.
To our Turkish fans check out "Londora magazine show" on Genc TV this Friday for highlights of the gig.
If you had anywhere near as much fun as we did please tell your family and friends for next time.
In the meantime as we travel to continue our Easter unplugged tour we are stuck on junction 23 of the M1 reduced to 0 miles an hour can be tough but a Laptop and a mobile internet connection and cure this board doom.
Keep your eye on the site for pictures and new videos of this tour including footage of my interview on Genc TV.
I'd like to thank all the Turkish and UK press and you our audience members for you help and support so far.
